Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk, who arrived here Monday, visited Sabic and held talks with Prince Saud Bin Abdullah Bin Thunayan, President of the Jubail and Yanbu Royal Commission and Sabic Chairman. Tusk's visit to Sabic is of great importance in the development of relations between the Kingdom and Poland, Prince Saud said. Muhammad Bin Muhammad Al-Maadhi, Deputy Chairman of the Board of Directors of Sabic, said that Central European markets, including Poland, are important for Sabic. He said that Sabic has natural resources and marketing potential which enable it to reach its customers in Poland in particular and Central Europe in general. Sabic has a strong presence in Central Europe through its sales office in Warsaw and a central logistics supply warehouse in central Poland. Tusk invited Saudi businessmen to invest in Poland. The Kingdom is one of Poland's largest strategic partners in the region. Examples of the mutual interest shown by the two countries in forming business ties include the establishment of a Polish branch office of Zamil Steel, opening of Sabic office in Warsaw as well as the signing of an MoU on cooperation between different companies.
