The Saudi Professional League winner will be decided following the last round matches after both Al-Shabab and Al-Ahli Sunday secured crucial wins against Al-Ansar and Al-Raid respectively. In Buraidah, Ahli thrashed Al-Raid 5-1. Ahli went in front in the 4th minute through Muhsin Al-Essa. Midfielder Tayseer Al-Jasem doubled Ahli's lead in the 44th minute. Al-Jasem scored his second and Ahli's third goal in the 50th minute. Deba Elonga managed to pull one back for Al-Raid in the 69th minute. The goal helped Raid put extra pressure on Ahli, but the Jeddah club's striker Victor scored the side's fourth goal in the 81st minute. Victor sealed the game with his second and Ahli's fifth goal in the 91st minute. Ahli is second in the standings with 61 points, two behind Shabab. Shabab also did not face any problems against Al-Ansar as it won 3-0. Shabab faces a deciding match against Ahli Saturday in Jeddah. Shabab on 63 points is still undefeated this season.
