Ahli of Jeddah faces a do or die situation when it will meet Al-Raid in Buraida in a crunch match of the Saudi Professional League Sunday. The match is crucial for Ahli which is gunning for the league title. Ahli is currently ranked second in the standing with 58 points, two behind Shabab. Any result other than a victory against Al-Raid will hand Shabab the league crown, provided Shabab secures three points against Al-Ansar on the same day. The match is also important for Al-Raid which badly needs three points to improve its standing in the league. Shabab is favorite against Al-Ansar which is the weakest team in the league. It has already slipped to the first division. Shabab, however, will be playing the game with an eye on the Ahli match hoping the result would go in Al-Raid's favor or at least it ends in a draw. Ittihad Club of Jeddah will host Al-Nasr Club of Riyadh in another match of round 25 Sunday. The match will not affect the standing of the league as both Nasr and Ittihad are out the title race. Nasr is currently ranked seventh in the league with 31 points, while Ittihad is sixth (35). Both Ittihad and Nasr will miss the chance of playing in the AFC Champions League next year. In the other matches of the day, Najran takes on Hilal, Al-Fateh facs Taawon, Ittifaq plays against Al-Faisaly, and Al-Qadisiya meets Hajr. __
