Dr. Abdulmuhsin Al-Akkas, former minister of social affairs, died of a heart attack Friday. Al-Akkas was born in Al-Ahsa in 1948 (1367H). He obtained a doctorate degree in political science from Washington University, Seattle. He occupied several important posts including Secretary General of the Riyadh Chamber of Commerce and Industry (RCCI) and Chairman of the Board of Directors of Saudi Research and Marketing Company.
