Published in The Saudi Gazette on 29 - 03 - 2012

Samsung Electronics Co., Ltd., a market leader and award-winning innovator in consumer electronics, launched their most innovative AC technology, the Digital Variable Multi (DVM) air conditioning system in Saudi Arabia during a series of seminars conducted in Jeddah and Riyadh where Samsung Electronics presented the concept to local construction companies, consultants and projects developers and showcased the new technology, which is the first product with such an offering in the Kingdom and across the Gulf.
Samsung Electronics has moved forward and expanded its AC business by transforming into a complete AC solution company and introducing the DVM air conditioning system, a new generation in multi-zone modular systems that uses variable-capacity compressor and multiple indoor evaporators.
Jinhyuk Oh, AC Business Manager, Samsung Electronics, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, said ‘we are affirming our position as a global technology company, providing each and every market with units that serve to their best interest.”
“Saudi Arabia is by no doubt witnessing n extremely high rate of business growth, especially within the real estate, construction, business and manufacturing industries,” he further said.
“For that, Samsung has realized that with those industries growing, the technology that they use is also being introduced at a faster rate. Within the AC industry, we have introduced the DVM, in order to supply those businesses and many others with the most up-to-date technologies and highest quality air conditioners that will surely exceed expectations and deliver the highest results even at the warmest temperatures.”
DVM system air conditioners feature unprecedented technologies that create an optimum cooling and heating atmosphere, including the world's longest piping length, largest capacity, smallest footprint, turbo intercooler and DVI compressor.
The units introduced in the Kingdom are exclusively tailored for the Saudi market, with the compressor able to withstand heat reaching up to 54 degrees Celsius.
