Samsung Electronics has announced its foray into the system air conditioner business by launching its Commercial AC products which include ducted split type, cassette type, during a recent event held in Inter continental Hotel, Jeddah by inviting renowned consultants, contractors and distributors. “The Samsung Commercial Air conditioner has been developed for the Middle East market to bring optimum solutions to customers based on aerodynamically optimized design” Samsung Jeddah General Manager Gyechoon Cho said. Samsung offers wide range of Commercial Air conditioners in ducted split and cassette type units. In ducted split type segment, Samsung offers 18k~60k Btu/h capacity unit and cassette type, 24k to 48k Btu/h capacity 4 way type. Central split type 6.0 to 24.0 tons and packaged type 4.0 to 31.0 tons capacity units. Samsung's ducted split air conditioners are equipped with static pressure control to ensure efficiency and silent operation. All Samsung ducted split air conditioners are equipped with anti-bacteria filter system to provide cleaner and healthier air. The anti bacteria filter traps dust particles and suppress proliferation of molds and bacteria. “Recently Samsung Electronics has announced the commercial air conditioning business as one of the 8 major future growth Engines. To achieve leadership in the market, Samsung will continuously invest on this business in terms of R&D which will provide superior technology and quality to customers,” Cho added. Samsung Electronics also announced the launching of the Tropical DVM plus III for Saudi market soon. It will launch the Tropical DVM plus III for Middle East market by 2010. The Samsung DVM plus III (digital variable multi system is a module multi system air conditioner that has the world's largest capacity (8-64HP) with the application of a DVI (digital vapor injection) compressor and can connect up to maximum 256 indoor units regardless of type of indoor unit.
