Al-Bassami said the most important among these studies aims to provide cars for the physically challenged in order to raise the percentage of Saudization in the car rental sector which should have been employing Saudi youths in coordination with the government administrations. Al-Bassami stressed that the Saudization of car rental offices is very important. He said ‘people renting cars, escaping with them and taking possession of these vehicles for long periods without paying the due car rentals was the subject that was the main focus of the meeting held recently at JCCI between the committee members and Col. Talal Al-Saydalani, representative of Jeddah Police and Maj. Khalid Al-Harthi from the Criminal Investigations Department (CID).' Al-Bassami pointed out that it is necessary to find deterrent penalties for such cases, which waste the security bodies time in searching and pursuing such cases. __
