United States Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice will travel to Pakistan next week for talks on terrorism, Afghanistan and other international issues, the Foreign Ministry said Monday. During the March 17-18 visit, Rice is likely to meet with President Gen. Pervez Musharraf and other senior Pakistani officials, Foreign Ministry spokesman Jalil Abbas Jilani told a weekly news conference. "In the talks, we expect to review our growing bilateral relations with a view to looking ahead," he said.
