Expressing regret at what happened at King Khaled University, Prince Mit'eb Bin Abdullah Bin Abdul Aziz, Minister of State, Cabinet member and Commander of the National Guard, said here Tuesday that homeland security and stability is everybody's responsibility. In an address to a group of well-wishers including citizens and military personnel, Prince Mit'eb said that tackling mistakes and demanding solutions cannot be done by disturbing security and stability. He pointed out that there are foreign circles trying to destabilize the security and stability of the country. Referring to the situation in several Arab countries and the resulting chaos, he said, “We should be very careful and give due attention to the security of our country and fight against the malicious calls which are aimed at destabilizing the country.” He said the country is the home of every citizen. So every single person should understand the importance of their role toward their children, families and country. Prince Mit'eb said that the security of citizens is an indivisible part of the country. He urged the youth to contribute to serving their country and not to lose the available employment opportunities under one pretext or another. “Obtaining a job should serve as a challenge to a person who should prove his efficiency for the development of our beloved nation.” He said the needs of citizens are at the top of the list of priorities of the leadership, stressing that King Abdullah, Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, gives utmost attention to the housing needs of citizens and supports easy home loans. He said that in Jizan under the King Abdullah Foundation 6,000 residential units have already been built.
