Usman hits century

Iqbal, PIS Green, Pakistan International School (PIS) Azizya White and Hala International School emerged winners in the Under-17 Inter-School Cricket Tournament week-II matches being played for the Zahid Tractor Cup here recently.
The first match saw Al-Iqbal School beat Bangladesh International School (BIS)-ES by 26 runs. Batting first Al-Iqbal scored 126-7 with Waleed making 44 and Sayam 32. Khurram took 2-18, while Tanveer, Hilal, Intizar took one wicket each. BIS in reply was bowled out for 100 with Taha top-scoring with 32. Atif took 3-17, Abdul Rafey 2-13 and Ibrahim 2-17.
The second match saw PIS Azizya Green humble Al-Waha by 64 runs. Taking the strike first PIS Azizya Green plundered 251-1 with Usman hammering an unbeaten 152 in just 58 balls. Mudassir remained not out on 45 as Hamid scored 43. Al-Waha in reply was bundled out for 88 with Mustafa making 24 and Hussain 16. Usman grabbed 3-9, Hamid 3-12, Abbas 2-10 and Huzaifa one wicket.
Another match saw PIS Azizya White beat Pakistan International School Jeddah-English Section by 41 runs. PIS Azizya scored 157-5 as Naveed smashed 107 and Anas Ali 21. Saqib Ali took 2-25, while Umer, Hamza and Fahad took a wicket each. PISJ-ES in reply was all out for 116 with Hamza and Saqib making 25 each and Habib 19. Naveed, with fine all-round performance, took 3-24, Asim 2-37, while Anas and Saqlain bagged a wicket each.
Hala International School beat Al-Wadi International School by 61 runs. Hala piled up 172-5 through Fahim (63), Salman (50) and Abdul Rafey (20). Zubair Khan took 2-45, while Rayium and Sajid claimed a wicket each. Al-Wadi in reply was restricted to 114-7. Ahmed Nasir scored 20, while Uzair and Adil scored 19 each. Osama took 2-14, Waleed 2-18 and Ozair, Abdul Wasay and Farhan one each.
