Corniche, PISJ (ES), PISJ Green win

Iqbal International School, Corniche International School downed PISJ White and PISJ Green got the better of DPS Al-Falah International School in the seond week matches of the Under-16 Inter-School Johnson Cup 2011 at the WPCA Eskan Grounds here.
The Tournament is sponsored by Johnson Control and managed by Western Province Cricket Association (WPCA).
Corniche School, batting first against PISJ White, put up 127-6. Anas Malik plundered 7 fours and 6 sixes to compile an unbeaten 82 and Mirza made 13. Hisham, Hamza, Umer Khan and Usman took one wicket each.
PISJ White, in reply, was bowled out for 104 as Shamoon grabbed 4 wickets for 21 runs and had a hand in one run out. Hamza made 22, Daniyal 15 and Abbas 12. Mirza took 2-20 and Umer and Mohsin got one wicket each.
PISJ (ES), opting to bat first against Iqbal International, piled up 168-4, thanks to 52 runs from Extras. Ahsan remained unbeaten on 41, Sauleh made 26, Furqan 25 and Habib 18 n.o. Rafeh, Saad, Noman and Abdullah took one wicket each.
In reply, Iqbal School could muster only 115 for 6 in the allotted overs and lost by 53 runs – the runs they gifted as extras earlier. Omer Shahid made 51 with 3 fours and 2 sixes, Abdullah made 16 and Noman 14. Shoaib got 3-10, Omer 2-31 and Habib one.
PIS Azizya Green racked up 148 for 1 against DPS Al-Falah International School with Hamza remaining unbeaten on 74 with 6 hits to the fence.
Mudassir hit 45 and Hasnain 19 n.o. The only wicket to fall went to Vraj.
DPS Al-Falah, in response, was all out for 129. Abdullah stroked 51, Rayyan 30, Fawad remained unbeaten on 15 and Normit made 11. For PIS Green, Ali, Abdullah and Omer were the wicket-takers.
