PISJ Azizia teams and DPS Al-Falah score victories

Falah and PISJ Azizia White recorded victories in the Under-16 Inter-School Cricket Tournament here last Thursday.
The championship, which is organized by the Western Province Cricket Association (WPCA), is sponsored by Johnson Control.
Eight schools from Jeddah are divided into two groups of four each. Group A has PISJ Azizia Green, DPS Al-Falah, Gharnata International School and Al-Beladi International School. Group B consists of PISJ (ES), Iqbal International School, Hala International School and PISJ Azizia White.
The WPCA coordinators for this tournament are Sohail Shah and Khaleel Dawood.
PISJ Azizia Green mercilessly thrashed Gharnata International School by 10 wickets. Gharnata, batting first, was bundled out for 87 in 16 overs as Abdullah picked up 4 wickets for just 19 runs and Omer 2-10. Hamza, Fahad and Mudassir took one wicket each. Jawwad made 21 and Danish 11. PIS Azizia Green was home with 88 for no loss. Mudassir hammered 50 in 31 balls and Hamza blasted 28.
DPS Al-Falah defeated Al-Beladi by 36 runs in another Group A match. DPS Al-Falah, batting first, scored 144 for 5. Rayan hit 61 and Abdullah made 16. Hassan, Raza and Waleed accounted for one wicket each. Al-Beladi, in reply, was stranded at 108 for 9. Sayam and Maaz scored 19 each and Hassan 17. For DPS Fawad scalped 2-3, Vraj 2-8 and Abdullah 2-26. Reyes, Rayan and Fawaz took one wicket each.
In the last encounter, PISJ Aziiya White won by a solitary run against Iqbal Int'l School. PIS White put up 145 for 5 in 16 overs as opener Hasan made 48, Hamza 28, Daniyal and Hamza 17 each and Abbas 13. Noman took 2-31 and Omer one. In reply, Iqbal School came up with 144 for 3. Omer Said blasted 48 not out, Noman 37 and Asad 23. Asim grabbed 2-19 for PIS.
