Mu'ayyad and Fahd Al-Riya'i Okaz/Saudi Gazette NAJRAN/ABHA – Prince Mish'al Bin Abdullah Bin Abdulaziz, Emir of Najran region, has interceded to end a six-year dispute between two branches of Aal Quray' tribe. After numerous attempts to resolve the dispute failed, the Emir came forward to mediate. The two tribal families dropped their demands in appreciation of Prince Misha'l's intervention. The Emir praised the two parties' stance, their magnanimity and chivalry, as well as their quick concession of demands. He said that pardon and forgiveness are among the characteristics of men and it is not strange that fellow citizens prove day after day their splendid and honorable stances. Meanwhile, in the eastern part of Asir, groups of tribesmen gathered at At-Turaib center, a beheading courtyard, on Friday morning to complete reconciliation formalities and close a case between the two tribes of Aal Kadm and Aal Khater. Sheikh Saad Bin Ayidh Bin Kadm had pardoned his son's killer for the sake of Allah at the beheading courtyard. Sheikh Bin Shafloot, elder of the Aal Khater tribe, thanked Sheikh Saad Bin Kadm for the pardon. “Your brethren Aal Khater present you with SR2 million and a 2012 Toyota Land Cruiser,” Bin Shafloot said. But Sheikh Saad Bin Kadm refused to accept the gift. “We have pardoned the killer for the sake of Allah and all we want is the reward from Allah Almighty,” he replied. After the sheikhs, notables and tribal delegations insisted that he accept the gifts, he took the car, but rejected the SR2 million. __
