Juan Martin del Potro beat Michael Llodra of France 6-4, 6-4 in the Open 13 final Sunday to win his first title of the season and the 10th of his career. The former US Open champion briefly wobbled at 0-30 down when serving for the match, but closed it out when Llodra hit a forehand shot into the net from the back of the court. Llodra, the 2010 champion, lost his serve once in each set and could not force a single break point chance against the big-serving Argentine, who hit 11 aces. Almagro-Ferrer final In Buenos Aires, defending champion Nicolas Almagro will meet fellow Spaniard David Ferrer in Sunday's final of the Copa Claro clay-court tournament. No. 2 seed Almagro defeated Stanislas Wawrinka of Switzerland 6-4, 3-6, 7-5, and No. 1 Ferrer had an easy time beating local favorite David Nalbandian of Argentina 6-1, 6-4. Almagro and Wawrinka remained on serve in the final set until Almagro broke in the last game to win the semifinal. Ferrer's victory was lopsided. He won the first set in 20 minutes with Nalbandian unable to find his stroke in front of boisterous home fans.
