The Commission for the Promotion of Virtue and Prevention of Vice (the Hai'a) has arrested four men for public indecency here. The raid was made after the men tried to coerce another young man into joining their activities which included cross-dressing. The young man resisted their attempts and reported them to the Hai'a, Asharq newspaper reported Thursday. “The Hai'a set up an ambush for the network and caught them in possession of make-up products, creams, condoms, false Iqamas and a photo album with obscene photos,” a source said. The men have now been referred to the Bureau of Investigation and Prosecution which will formally investigate the case. According to the source, one of the men admitted being ‘married' to another man who fled the apartment before the raid. The Hai'a's spokesman in Asir, Awad Al-Asmari, is expected to make a statement after looking into the case.
