RIYADH — AMUOBA and Bihar foundation felicitated the newly appoint IISR Chairman Dr. Dilshad Ahmad at separate events. AMUOBA felicitated him at a function at Istherah on the outskirts of Riyadh. Chief Guest Dr. Hifzur Rahman Azmi, first secretary at the Indian Embassy, said that Dr. Dilshad has full term to prove his mettle and he hoped that he will bring laurels to the fraternity. Dr. Dilshad assured the Indian community that more students would be admitted to the school once it moves to the new building. President AMUOBA Suhail Ahmed thanked the community members who helped AMUOBA in free distribution of ration in India. On this occasion core members of AMUOBA Dr. Misbah Ul Arfeen and Mohammed Zaigham Khan also spoke. Dr. Hifzur Rahman presented a memento to Dr. Dilshad Bouquets were presented to Dr. Hifzur Rahman and Dr. Dilshad. Earlier, Dr. Ahad Siddqui recited verses of Holy Qur'an to start off the proceedings. Salman Khalid, vice president, conducted the proceedings and Arshad Ali Khan, general secretary, proposed vote of thanks. At another event organized by Bihar foundation, Dr. Hifzur Rahman said that International Indian School Riyadh has limited resources and also charges less fee compared to other schools, and in this situation we cannot equip the school latest technology. Obaid ur Rahman former chairman Bihar Foundation welcomed the gathering at the Red Onion Restaurant and thanked the guest.
