LuLu Hypermarket, Saudi Arabia is holding Saudi agro fresh fest dubbed as "From Our Land" in association with Ministry of Agriculture, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, from Feb. 19 to March 2, 2012 in their major outlets located in Riyadh and Al-Khobar. The inaugural ceremony of the festival in Riyadh was held Feb. 19 by Eng. Abdul Al Jalil Bin A. Al-Ashri, Director General, Agricultural Marketing, Ministry of Agriculture, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The same event was inaugurated by Eng. Sameer Al Rushaid, Deputy Director of Ministry of Agriculture, Eastern Province in Lulu hypermarket, Al-Khobar. As part of the festival, Lulu will exhibit wide range of locally grown fruit vegetables in affordable prizes. Lulu is offering customers "killer price" in local fruits and vegetables up to Feb. 24. Lulu will present 4 Ipads for their customers through a "Drop and Win" campaign during the entire period. The Ministry of Agriculture exhibits its photo gallery to show the growth and development of agricultural sector in Saudi Arabia. Lulu will exhibit a video documentary produced by the ministry of agriculture to explain the agricultural growth in the Kingdom. Another attraction of the event is the local nurseries exhibit. Special section displays organic products. The hydroponic system of farming are also displayed. As part of the festival, Lulu exhibit wide range of locally- produced agro products with reasonable rates More than 100 varieties of vegetables from different parts of Saudi Arabia will be available during the festival. "This festival attracts all nationalities residing in the Kingdom because the locally-produced fruits and vegetables are economically available for our customers," said Lulu officials.
