Saudi Arabia is the second largest producer of dates in the world, with local farmers producing around 300 varieties of dates. Dates farms are heavily concentrated in Quaseem, Al-Kharj, Al Hassa, and Madina. As the part of the festival, the fruit and vegetable section will showcase a wide range of fresh dates (Ruthab) -filled with attractive familiar dates brand Razis, Muthawa, Safari, Salaj, Rotana, Sagi, Mabroom and Sukari, among others. "The main aim of the dates festival is to create awareness for our valued customers about the importance of dates and dates-related products.
