Published in The Saudi Gazette on 25 - 05 - 2017

HSS Supply Chain Solutions has concluded a milestone achievement, entering an agreement to lease 38,000 sqm of Grade A warehousing space from Tusdeer, the Kingdom's first bonded re-expert zone, which is strategically located within Jeddah Islamic Port, the gateway to 70% of the Kingdom's logistics traffic. The agreement provides HSS with a strategic location enhancing its ability to provide cost-effective and efficient services to clients.
Long known as the preferred logistics destination for major auto exporters and freight forwards, Tusdeer is a fast emerging strategic partner to industrial and FMCG clients looking to undertake light assembly, packaging, repackaging, labeling and transportation services in a cost effective, duty and demurrage free and high quality manner.
For the past two decades, Tusdeer has been a proud partner to the largest and most reputed business houses in the Kingdom, such as Abdul Latif Jameel, AL Naghi, as well as international organizations, like Suzuki, DB Schenker, Agility, Kunhe, & Nagel, and Nestle.
HSS Supply Chain Solutions is a Saudi company providing its clients with its services through its offices in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, and Dubai, United Arab Emirates.
HSS takes pride in its team, who together combine 40 years of multinational experience, providing cost-effective, integrated, and fully optimized services and solutions, custom tailored to meet its clients' needs and requirements.
HSS serves clients from a wide range of industries offering services and solutions that allow them to focus on their core business objectives. Amongst HSS client list is multinational brands like Unilever and Afia Savola Group. "This milestone partnership will enable to provide cost-effective storage, warehouse, and distribution services, along with ongoing consultation, manufacturing, co-packaging and distribution services," said Husam Sendi, CEO of HSS.
The agreement is in line with Saudi Vision 2030, which seeks to develop the Kingdom's economic growth beyond dependence on the oil industry, and will open new doors and economic opportunities within the Kingdom, providing Saudi-based companies with expanded access across the GCC and wider Middle East region, in addition, international exposure and expanded opportunities to do business globally. Not to forget the massive number of positions that will be available for Saudi youth, to support them with great career opportunities and expand their knowledge with expertise capabilities within the two companies.
