Samsung unveils its newest flagship TV
Published in The Saudi Gazette on 24 - 05 - 2017

Samsung Electronics unveiled its newest flagship TV lineup in Saudi Arabia. Samsung maintained its No.1 TV brand ranking for 11 consecutive years, now continues to offer Saudi customers stunning picture quality and seamless smart TV experience thanks to the enhancements of its Quantum Dot technology. Samsung's QLED TV redefines and reproduces 100 percent color precision and volume to equip viewers with a rich and unique lifestyle tailored for every local household.
Ismail Yoon, President, Samsung Electronics Saudi Arabia, announced the QLED TV in a curated event, and explained that the third-generation of the Quantum Dot technology is an innovation that would resonate with customers as per their own terms and preferences. "Our customers can now enjoy an exceptional lifestyle with the TV's smart features and a single optical cable, specifically designed to look near invisible while blending with the background," said Yoon.
The QLED TV features groundbreaking contrast with the HDR (high dynamic range) technology and curved edges offering a pleasant and comfortable viewing experience to the naked eye as compared to the flat design. Mr. Yoon stressed on the company's keenness to sustain its ongoing efforts providing nothing less than the latest global innovation in technology to complement their everyday routine and offer a once in a lifetime way of living to customers across the Kingdom.
The all new QLED TV was sculpted and crafted to perfect color regeneration as it shows off all shades and details in colors to deliver the best TV picture quality in the market. This advancement would not have been possible without its unparalleled Quantum Dot technology and HRD 1,500. For a better representation of this development, QLED TVs have moved up the ladder with its bold contract and color clarity rectification under any lighting condition. The viewer will be able to see the difference in contrast levels with 2,000 nits when displaying either bright or dark colors. As result, this sets a remarkable enhancement in color quality, rendering programs that work on HDR technology to look as vivid as seen in real life, be it a movie, live video or event games.
There are three main features that stand at the core of what the QLED is all about. Firstly is the "Q Picture" that brings 100 percent color volume and a fresh viewing scenery with its crystal clear display. The second feature, called "Q Smart", offers the viewer an entertaining performance with the OneRemote that puts him in control of all devices with all ease and the least possible effort. Thirdly, the "Q Style" feature removes unnecessary clutter with the Samsung Clean Cable Solution using the nearly undetectable slim optical connection that is easily plugged into the One Connect Box to consolidate the wires from the existing components.
The latest update of Samsung's Smart Hub allows an easy access to all content and connected devices from one place. Moreover, the Smart View will help the viewer easily browse content and stream the latest viral sensation without missing any moment as it reminds sports fanatics about the schedule of their favorite football game. — SG
