Batsmen dominated in the 8th round matches of the Western Union T20 Tournament, organized by Riyadh Cricket Association (RCA) and sponsored by Western Union here.
In Al-Kharj League, Pak Shaheen thrashed Amer Holidays by 7 wickets. Amer Holidays, batting first, posted 218-5. Shams scored 77, Irfan 37 and Sami 35. Faisal picked up 2 wickets. Pak Shaheen got to the target in 14.5 overs. Abdul Salam made 68, Ishaq 43 and Abdul Waheed 38. Rizwan claimed 2 wickets.
Lahore Badshah beat Lahore Lions by 26 runs. Lahore Badshah, batting first, tallied 188-8. Mudassar hit 59 and Adnan 46. Saud and Mansoor took 3 wickets each, while Awais got 2. Lahore Lions, in reply, managed 162 through Obaidullah (92) and Saud (32). Malik Fahad grabbed 3 wickets, while Awais and Imran took 2 each.
KFSH Riyadh Warriors got the better of Sama Steel by 8 wickets. Sama Steel, electing to bat first, posted 202-6. Asif Butt made 45 and Kamran Hadi 44. Majid and Munawar claimed 2 wickets each. KFSH Riyadh Warriors reached the target in 17.2 overs, thanks to a fine second wicket partnership of 161 runs between Ayaz Shah and Amjad Ali. Ayaz Shah remained unbeaten on 88 while Amjad Ali scored 82.
In Hayer League, Raavi CC beat Etihad CC by 4 wickets. Etihad CC put on 175-8. Zain picked up 3 wickets and Usman 2. Raavi CC won the match in 12.3 overs as Shahbaz hit 44 and Adnan 37.
Green Bangla beat Pak Stallions by 4 wickets. Pak Stallions scored 147. Shahid belted 41 and Fiaz 26. Zahidul claimed 4 wickets, Saiful 3 and Zakir 2. Green Bangla won the match in 17.3 overs. Zakir hit 52 and Zahidul 34.
TBCC downed White Star CC by 85 runs. TBCC posted 219-2. Shereef Kaindar scored 103 and Faisal Mogral 91. White Star CC managed 134. Asif made 31. Shameem Chalil picked up 5 wickets and Israr 3.
PTI CC edged Kashmir XI by 4 runs. PTI CC tallied 212-6. Irfan Khan cracked a century (110). Azhar Banday picked up 3 wickets. Kashmir XI fought hard but fell short of target by 4 runs. Amir Sofi contributed 72 and Arif Malik 47. Inamullah took 2 wickets.
Indian Strikers downed Sulaiman XI by 4 wickets. Sulaiman XI tallied 196-9 through Mudassar (49) and Khurram (37). Yogananda claimed 3 wickets and Shymon 2. Indian Strikers got to the target in 18.4 overs. Sunil made 63 and Mithun 35. Ramzan accounted for 3 wickets.
In Diriyah League, King Lions XI beat L'usine CC by 7 runs. King Lions XI scored 198-7. Jewel made 89 and Jasim 51. L'usine CC managed 191-9. Talal scored 67. Jasim, Jewel and Ripon bagged 2 wickets each.
Seham CC defeated Professionals Creation by 141 runs. Seham CC posted 221. Amir hit 59 and Amjad 38. Fenil picked up 3 wickets and Ranjith 2. Professionals Creation was bundled out for 80. Gulzar claimed 3 wickets, while Asif and Fayaz took 2 each.
Battagram Zalmi beat Riyadh Rhinos by 13 runs. Battagram Zalmi amassed 228-5. Shahid Khan blasted 101 and Fahad 34. Waqas and Rohan got 2 wickets each. Riyadh Rhinos, in reply, managed 115. Johnullah hit 34. Nawab bagged 3 wickets, while Shoaib and Amir got 2 each.
Pakistan XI beat PTI Tigers by 113 runs. Pakistan XI posted 234-4. Zain scored 80 and Wali 71. PTI Tigers were all out for 121. Faisal picked up 4 wickets, while Zaman and Zain bagged 2 wickets each.
Riyadh Zalmi prevailed over Phoenix CC by 30 runs. Riyadh Zalmi scored 228-6. Rizwan made 60 and Salman 57. Ammar, Haseeb and Furqan took 2 wickets each. Phoenix CC, in reply, managed 198-8. Gulsher top scored with 57. Rizwan picked up 3 wickets, while Aurangzeb and Salman bagged 2 each.
