Young Star clips Indomie Dragons in JSCL event

Young Star defeated Indomie Dragons by 12 runs in the opening match of Indomie Champions Trophy 2017-JSCL Season II at BMT Grounds.
Young Star piled up 160-5 in 10 overs thanks to Amir Siddique's unbeaten 78 runs off 25 balls (3x4's and 9x6's). Abu Hurairah contributed 35 runs off 15 balls. For Indomie Dragons, Israr took 2-28 and Rashed 1-25. Indomie Dragons managed 148-3. Mazher Abbasi was unbeaten on 52 off 21 balls and Maqsood hit unbeaten 33 off 18 balls. Masood and Waqas picked one wicket each. Amir Siddique was adjudged the Man of the Match.
Jeddah Gladiators defeated Junaid CC by 4 wickets. Junaid CC made 95-9 in 10 overs with Lateef making 20 off 14 balls. Asif took 3-21 and Mehtab took 2-21. Jeddah Gladiators won in 8.4 overs with Mehtab unbeaten on 36 off 24 balls (2x4's and 2x6's). Mehtab was declared Man of the Match.
Warriors beat Asia XI by 41 runs. Warriors scored 105-6 in 10 overs with Quraishi topscoring with 64 runs off 25 balls. Asia XI were restricted to 64-7. Quraishi of Warriors CC was declared the Man of the Match.
Four matches were played at BMT Grounds.
Saudi Gladiators defeated Zahid Group by 34 runs. Saudi Gladiators scored 143-5 in 10 overs. Waqas made 54 and Zubair remained unbeaten on 41. Moiz's excellent unbeaten knock went in vain for Zahid Group. Shafiq took 2-15. Waqas was declared the Man of the Match.
FH CC bested Friday Stallions by 5 wickets. Friday Stallions scored 107-4 in 10 overs with Oneeb's unbeaten 76 runs. Joynal took 2 for 7. FH CC achieved the target in 8.4 overs. Joynal scored an unbeaten 47 runs and was declared the Man of the Match for his all-round performance.
Pepsi Alliance routed Lothers CC by 10 wickets with 2.3 overs to spare. Lothers were restricted to 94-6 in 10 overs. Waqas made 35 and Abdul Wahed 24. Asif took 2 wickets and Israr and Irshad had a wicket each. Ahmed Rizvi unbeaten on 53 runs and Humayun on 20 led Pepsi to win. Ahmed Rizvi was declared the Man of the Match.
Arcoma Crown beat Crazy Cric by 8 runs. Arcoma Crown scored 130-7 in 10 overs with Jalil scoring 24, Ashraf 21 and Shareef 18 runs. Mohammed Thekemuri emerged with the first five-wicket haul of this tournament with figures of 5-31. Crazy Cric Jeddah then made 122-7. Dany Antony scored 35, Badushah 29 and Asif 26. Imtiaz took 3-19 and Haider 2-24. Imtiaz was adjudged the Man of the Match.
