Asghar smashes century in WPCA Morning

JEDDAH — Asghar Khan of Stallions hammered a fine century in the 17th week Summer Morning hostilities here at WPCA.
Arcoma, Crown Blue, ADI XI, INMA, Stallions, Jeddah Challengers, MFCC, Nesma Holding and Kashmir Strikers won their respective matches.
Arcoma defeated Indomie United Universal by 4 wickets. Indomie Universal United put on 166 for 6 with Umair making 41 as he added 71 with Tariq, who topscored with 66 in 49 balls. Rafiullah grabbed 4 wickets for 24. Arcoma reached 167 for 6 in 102 balls. Pervaiz Abid smashed 88 in 49 balls with 5 sixes and 7 fours and Tahir 23 as the two added 69 runs. Malik added 19. Rashid took 2-20 and Shakeel 2-24.
Crown Blue crushed Sadafco by 58 runs. Crown Blue racked up 193 for 6. Saqib Butt smashed 57 in 30 balls as he added 42 with Tasleem (24). Saleem Meher remained unbeaten on 62, Faiz hit 19 and Iftikhar 15 not out. Shams took 2-36 and Ehtesham 2-45.
Sadafco was left stranded at 135 for 7. Shams remained unbeaten on 58 as he added 57 with Zubair (25). Saqib scored 23. Zahoor took 2-13.
ADI XI trounced Deloitte by 6 wickets. Deloitte produced 160 for 5. Owais Khan stroked 33, Nabeel compiled 40, Fayyaz 15 and Irfan 21. Daniyal scalped 3-31. ADI XI reached 162 for 4 in 104 balls. Bilal topscored with 82 in 45 balls with 4 sixes and 8 fours as Nabeel hit 51 as the two added a match-winning 119 runs in 81 balls for the 3rd wicket after they lost both the openers cheaply.
INMA had the better of Jeddah Gladiators by 7 wickets. Jeddah Gladiators posted 115 for 5. Ibrahim made 17, Fahad 20 and Imran remained unbeaten on 16. Nadeem took 2-21. INMA got to the winning target of 116 for 3 in 76 balls. Nadeem remained unbeaten on 52 off 38 balls. He added 72 with Satish, who made 34. Abdur Raheem took 2-24.
Stallions humbled New Young Stars by 10 wickets. New Young Stars was bowled out for 124. Bilal notched 36, Rafaqat 18 and Raja 20. Two wickets each were claimed by Waqas (2-23), Jawad (2-24) and Faizan (2-28). Stallions made 128 in 68 balls as Asghar Khan hammered an unbeaten 105 in 36 balls with 9 sixes and 8 fours. He added 128 for the unbroken opening stand with Asim (12 not out).
Jeddah Challengers beat Black Hawks by 42 runs. Jeddah Challengers piled up 164 for 5. Ahmed hit 31, Rafiq 28 and Sardar 20. Yasir remained unbeaten on 37. Rifaqat claimed 2-30. Black Hawks, in reply, was bundled out for 122. Nadeem was the top scorer with 76 in 44 balls (3 sixes and 7 fours). Rifaqat added 19 and Inayat 16. Rafiq took 2-18.
MFCC thrashed Wolves XI by 132 runs. MFCC produced 176 for 8. Shafaqat compiled 22, Farhan 34, Zia 29 not out, Mahmud 23 and Yaseen 16. Sohail claimed 3-44 and Adil 2-22. Wolves XI was sent packing for 44 to lose by a huge margin of 132 runs. Mahmud grabbed 3-8 and Shafaqat 3-5.
Nesma Holding thumped AGA by 95 runs. Nesma Holding piled up 143 for 9. Ben smashed 61 in 40 balls with 9 hits to the fence. He added 50 with Rana (14). Furqan Ahmed remained unbeaten on 32. Fahad grabbed 3-36, Hassan 2-28, Jan 2-28 and Jahangir 2-3. AGA, in response, was restricted to 48 to lose by 95 runs. Zafar scalped 4-8, Furqan Ahmed 3-11 and Kamran 2-15.
