Companies forge rewards' network

JEDDAH — Some 25 companies and trade marks including travel agencies, optical shops, patisseries, restaurants, electronic shops and other outlets, have forged an alliance to kick off the first point-based rewards' network in the Saudi market under the theme “Multipartner Loyalty Program” or “JAZEEL”.
Majed Hekmat Qaddora, executive manager of MMS said that concept allows discounts to customers and deals offered by the partners. The customers would gain points over purchasing items and services from the registered companies which would entitle them for discounts on new purchases and offers.
The network is run by the Saudi Mukafaat Marketing Solutions (MMS)—the company specialized in marketing solutions and designing special electronic loyalty programs. The programs are offered for the customers of commercial centers and other companies registered with JAZEEL network.
Qaddora said the points would be periodically updated and added to JAZEEL card as soon as the customer received it from any customer service department located at one of the 25 partners. “The cardholder could immediately exchange the collected points in his card with any other products at any branch of the affiliated traders and companies,” he said.
The customers can get the information on their credited points, latest discounts, sales and a host of other offers on the website, www.jazeel.com, he said. “The program is simply not about points and rewards but it also provides the partners with a big opportunity of improving the level of customer satisfaction and in turn attract more new customers by means of wide marketing campaigns based on rich database of the MMS,” Qaddora said. “The terms and conditions of JAZEEL suggest that points may be earned upon the purchase of and the payment of goods and or services from participating partners.”
He said the points may be redeemed for certain goods and services as loyalty rewards. Each point in the cardholder's account balance equals SAR (0.01), the Company shall have the right to modify the purchasing value of the point as it may deem appropriate provided that the total purchase value of the points is not affected.
Once a reward has been issued it cannot be returned or exchanged for points, cash or other products — some rewards may differ slightly from the image shown on some ads available on the website. __
