JEDDAH — Ittihad and Nasser will play for the Saudi Basketball Federation Championship at the Prinice Abdullah Al-Faisal Basketball Hall here Monday. Nasser faced Ohud in the second round of the playoffs and won both games to move on. The first game between Nasser (69) and Ohud (66) was a real shootout. Ohud's import players point guard Rayan Delany and center Nickolas both scored 18 points each. Saudi players Shalabi had 14, Mohammed Abu Jales hit three 3 pointers and Mohammed Abu Jalal had 8 and 12 rebounds. Nasser's imports Jeremy Kusnor (19) and Steven Hertz (12) were helped by Fahad Saleh (17) and Turki (15) which edged out Ohud. In the second game, only Rayan (11 points) and Abu Jalal (16 points) were in double figures for Ohud. For Nasser, Jeremy had 17, Steve 13, Fahad 14 Hassan Ali 10, and Turki 9. Ittihad had a tough time in the first game but beat Fateh 76-70. The lead kept changing and in the last minuets the scores tied 5 times. Ittihad's imports Josh Dollard scored 28, Quintrell Thomas 18, Mohassan Hassan 13 and Jabba Al-Kabri 10. Fateh's imports Daniel Fata (27) and Constance Jefferson (14) kept Fateh in the game. Point guard Mohammed Sagah added 14. In Game Two, Ittihad got it right and had five players in double figures. Their passing game was excellent. Their scorers were Mohammed (16), Dollard (13), Thomas (15), Methana (14) and Jabba (11). Fateh's top scorers were Fata (20), Jefferson (18) and Mohammed Sagah (11).
