JEDDAH — Imran Qaiser of Al-Kabbani took 5 for 10 and Aslam of Deccan Youth 5 for 26 to be the top performers of the week in the WPCA Morning Tournament here.
Rabih had 4 scalps while steering Emper Perfumes to victory. Other team winners were IDB, Nesma Holding, Apex Express, MFCC and Al-Mazroi Salonpas.
IDB defeated Hyderabad Strikers by 14 runs. IDB racked up 188 for 5. Rizwan stroked 49 in 28 balls as he added 59 with Muzammil (30). Mohsin stroked 44 and Adeel an unbeaten 32. Rasheed took 2-22.
Hyderabad Strikers were stranded at 174-8. Irfan Ayazuddin hammered 86 in 49 balls with 3 sixes and 9 fours and Imran 41. Mohsin took 3-16 and Zohair 2-26.
Emper Perfumes humbled Jeddah Tigers by 7 wickets. Jeddah Tigers were bowled out for 115 despite Sohel hitting 56 in 39 balls. Tahir made 17. Rabih scalped 4-11 and Mehboob Shabbir 3-28. Emper Perfumes raced to 117-3 in 68 balls. Rabih remained unbeaten on 38, Bobi Farhan hit 40 and Umair 17.
Al-Kabbani Cricket Group downed Indomie United Universal Cups by 39 runs. Al-Kabbani piled up 167-8. Irfan Ulfat hit 39, Luqman Ulfat 39, Rashid 20 and Imran Qaiser 17. Tariq Siddiqui took 3-34 and Alam 2-28.
Indomie Cup was restricted to 128-9. Imran Ulfat was the wrecker-in-chief with 5-10. Luqman Ulfat took 2-36 and Asad 2-32. Ziad remained unbeaten on 50 and Irfan hit 31.
Deccan Youth prevailed over Bihar International Fighters by 4 wickets. Bihar was bundled out for 116. Aslam was the pick of the bowlers with 5-26. Faisal made 26 and Kashif 34. Deccan Youth achieved the victory (117-6) in 89 balls. Shareef made 22, Sabir 28 and Aslam remained unbeaten on 24. Moin took 2-24 and Ashique 2-28.
Nesma Holding thrashed Super Cricket Club by 94 runs. Nesma Holding amassed 229-9. Naeem scored 43 and added 84 in 48 balls with Saqib Butt (51 in 30 balls) after early jolts. Rana then hammered 66 in 27 balls. He added 55 with Rizwan (22). Saidul contributed 16. Adnan took 3-52 and Shahrukh 2-12. Super CC, in reply, was stranded at 135-5. Altaf stroked 58 in 39 balls, Hammad 20, Fayyaz 18 and Sameer 16. Sheraz had 2-11.
MFCC continued its supremacy against ADI XI by 8 wickets. ADI XI posted 133 through Nabeel (47) and Yasir (18). Shafaqat grabbed 3-9, Yaseen Warraich 3-16, Sajjad 2-21 and Assam 2-26. MFCC reached 136-2 in 79 balls. Farhan top scorered with an unbeaten 81 in 43 balls with 12 fours and a six. He added a match-winning 98 in 50 balls with Jibran (36 n.o.) for the unbroken third wicket.
Apex Express trounced NNG Sports by 108 runs. Apex Express put on 227-3. Rizwan top scored with 87 in 46 balls with 14 fours. He added 128 in 64 balls with Abdulazeez who hammered 86 in 52 balls with 3 sixes and 10 fours for the second wicket.
Omar compiled 28. Bilawal took 2-38. NNG Sports crashed to 119. Salahuddin made 43. Imtiyaz grabbed 3-20, Rizwan 2-5 and Asif 2-6.
Al-Mazroi Salonpas beat Deloitte by 52 runs. Al-Mazroi racked up 213-7. Salman stroked 66 with 3 sixes and 6 fours and Mohsin 29 as the two added 69. Later, Asif made 33, Imran 16 and Abdullah 15. Fayyaz took 3-26 and Tahir 2-32. Deloitte was restricted to 151-6. Nabil hit 37 and Owais 32, Zulfikhar 31 and Irfan 17. Ayyub took 3-28.
