The five-day course focused on various topics, including the meaning of volunteerism from an Islamic perspective, said Mohammed Saleh Bamonif, chairman of the association in Makkah region. The course was held in collaboration with other training centers and included the participation of a number of charity associations. According to Bamonif, the organization seeks to create awareness of volunteerism among the general public and corporations. The course was conducted by a number of experts, including Dr. Ali Al-Ibrahim, a consultant on human development and the president of the International Academy for Social Responsibility in Qatar, and Dr. Saleh Abdullah Ibrahim, an education expert and CEO of the regional Network of Social Responsibility. — SG __
