Rosewood Jeddah launching second Turkish Food Festival
Published in The Saudi Gazette on 23 - 01 - 2017

ROSEWOOD Jeddah is in the midst of adding the final touches to the second Turkish Food Festival, an unforgettable culinary festival taking place at Habsburg restaurant; it is set to offer guests an opportunity to explore the unique Turkish taste from Jan. 26 until Feb. 8, every evening from 7 p.m. to midnight.
The two-week festival will offer Rosewood Jeddah visitors a rich and memorable culinary journey, starting with a festive reception of the original Turkish ambiance, as guests will be able to take pictures with the festival›s mascot, a sultan and his chair located right at the entrance to welcome them. They will then embark on a wide range of popular and traditional Turkish delicacies, as they sample through a buffet with a selection of vegetarian dishes with many choices of hot & cold mezze appetizers, and Turkish meat dishes including the famous Iskander kebab; ending their tasting adventure with mouth-watering desserts including Turkish ice cream "Dondurma" served in an authentic performance. Bringing the experience to life, guests will enjoy live cooking stations, having the chance to watch their dishes being cooked fresh in front of them.
The team of chefs working on the Turkish food festival will be led by Turkish chef Okan Aydemir, who is visiting specifically for the festival, providing visitors with all the popular dishes from his home country over the course of two weeks and exposing guests to a true Turkish dining experience right here in Jeddah.
«We impatiently await annual food festivals, as we demonstrate our expertise offering Jeddah›s residences and expatriates exclusive menus in collaborations with professional chefs, especially after the success of the first Turkish Food Festival in 2016, where we were able to offer our visitors a glimpse of Turkey in the comfort of their own city," said Sherif El Mansoury, Director of Sales & Marketing.
Each day a raffle draw will allow one lucky winner to win valuable prizes from Rosewood Jeddah.
Guests can enjoy the Turkish dinner buffet for SR210 per person, inclusive of water and choice of Turkish coffee or Turkish tea.
