This year the marvels exceeded that of the last year. SCILORE feasted the thousands with exhibits which are home-grown but not down at heel, embellished but not blingy and easy but not unstructured. Outdoing last year's exhibition in every department, the budding scientist and the curious Newtons boldly proved that their aesthetics of science is much more than amateurish. The exhibition is an acknowledgement for them to self endorse the art, culture, heritage and handicraft juxtaposed with science. The models and projects painstakingly molded first in the vibrant imagination of their young mind and then under the watchful instructions of their teachers are the audacious testimonies that imagination can tryst with reasoning and handicraft can embellish inquisitiveness. It came in for wide appreciation not only from the public but science enthusiasts too. Having been organized with the objective of instilling scientific values in young minds, the exhibition turned out to be an incredible crowd puller. If the inquisitiveness for reason and logic are to be streamlined, practical experience in scientific activities must have dominance over mere theoretical rhetoric that the classrooms offer. The parents' community, the students and the public who attended the event are of the unanimous opinion that the event that consisted charts, still models and working models, went beyond their expectation. The event was formally inaugurated by Deputy Consul General of India Mohammad Shahid Alam in the presence of a huge gathering. School Director Saleem Hamza, Principal Mohammed Shafeeque, Headmaster George Joseph, teachers, parents and students were there in good numbers. Ms. Haifaa and Ms.Samia from Ministry of Education were the guests of honor in the girls' wing and School Mudeera Ms. Fatma Syed Al Somali and coordinators Ms. Anu Jose and Ms. Arshiya Tarunnam accompanied the guests for viewing the exhibits. The function was remarkably arranged with the unique Arabian hospitality. The event left wonderful and memorable moments in the mind of the onlookers. The entire school was abuzz with activity. Beautiful projects relating to the theme like hand printing, thumb printing, ribbon's art and craft, crown making, traditional dresses, cultural etiquettes, national symbol and emblem, people, Language, Religion, Kings and Queens, Environment, Buildings, Industries, Historical event, beautiful cities, education system, science and technology of India, KSA and France were presented. The SCILORE was notable with concept-based projects on Chandrayan, India's answer to the space challenges and models simulating machines meant to stop trains when accidents, attacks and other emergencies occur. The Deputy Consul General and the parents who put the questions to the demonstrators documented their satisfaction and surprise at the caliber and the expertise exhibited. Words of appreciation, not only to the students, but the teachers who acted as the guides and instructors for the success of the school exhibition were relayed. These students are unique, with surpassing intelligence, marvel in curricular and co curricular activities and SCILORE bears witness to this truth. The general opinion about the exhibition was the great depth the students display, with robust quality standards, expert in handling any challenge both in Science and Humanities, creating breakthrough activities and presenting enhanced intellectual quotient.
