The city witnessed yet another academic marvel amazingly displayed in the form of a school exhibition "NIS Bravura 2015" by Novel International School recently. It was widely appreciated by science enthusiasts and the attendees. The event being organized with the objective of instilling scientific values in young minds, the exhibition turned out to be an incredible crowd puller. If the inquisitiveness for reason and logic are to be streamlined, practical experience in scientific activities must have dominance over mere theoretical rhetoric that the classrooms offer. The parents' community, the students and public who attended the event, were of the unanimous opinion that the event that consisted charts, still models and working models, went beyond their expectation. Consul General B.S.Mubarak inaugurated the exhibition in the presence of a huge gathering. School Director Saleem Hamza, Principal Mohammed Shafeeque, headmaster, teachers, parents and students were also present. Ms. Affaf Asefri and Ms. Muna Moammar from Ministry of Education were the Guests of Honour in the girls' wing and School Mudeera Ms. Fatma Syed Al Somali and coordinators Ms. Anu Jose and Ms. Arshiya Tarunnam accompanied the guests for viewing the exhibits. The function was remarkably arranged with the unique Arabian hospitality, which was visible in each moment. The whole event left wonderful and memorable moments in the mind of all the onlookers. More than 70 rooms of the school building were occupied with stunning exhibits that highlighted the past and the present technology that reshaped our life, social and Islamic Values, photography, computer and robotics. The girls' section was abuzz with activities of ISA with beautiful projects relating to the theme like food, heritage, culture, hospitality, invention, jewelry etc of India, KSA and Sweden. Students who demonstrated their exhibits excelled in answering the queries put to them. The manner the students faced the hard and inquisitive questions was outstanding and needed extreme praise. The stunning attractions comprised the principles of cooling system, scary rooms, solar system, handicrafts, philately, hydraulic engineering system, models of home appliances, mental math, snake and ladder representation of ‘healthy habits of wealthy life' and methods of water purification. More curiosity and unlimited queries came flowing to these exhibits and the students displayed incredible uneasiness in quenching them. The Consul General and the parents who put the questions to the demonstrators documented their satisfaction and surprise at the caliber and the expertise they carried out. They poured words of appreciation not only to the students but the teachers who acted as the guides and instructors for the success of the school exhibition. Later the Consul General interacted with the students and he explained about his student days and the work he put while pursuing his IFS. He motivated the students with inputs from history, religion, business and technology to become great leaders. He advised the students to come out of the comfort zone and learn new subjects, understand concepts and make themselves to become more society-oriented contributory leaders rather than self-centered leaders.
