New graduates of SAP professional academy

UNDER the patronage of Prince Doctor Abdulaziz Bin Muhammed Bin Ayaf, the President of the University Board of Trustees, with the presence of Dr. Ahmad Bin Saleh Al-Yamani, Rector of Prince Sultan University, King Salman Education Program for Hiring at Prince Sultan University held a graduation for the new class of SAP professional academy in the presence of University officials and program partners Mobily & SAP International. The graduation ceremony was attended by Eng. Faiez Awadh, Mobily Chief Human Resources Officer; Bertrand Andries, Head of Education EMEA at SAP; Giovanni Bizzotto, Middle East & North Africa Director; and Abdullah Al-Fadhel, University Vice President.
The new class graduations comes within the joint efforts of the University and Mobily, the main program partner, and SAP, the technical partner. The joint program aims to contribute in developing Saudi universities' graduates, and help them get job opportunities around the Kingdom. Mobily provides the financial and technical support to the program, and SAP provides several features to the talented program graduates.
During this program, the university graduates participants received a theoretical and practical training on SAP system through a full time attendance and by a direct supervision of "King Salman Education Program For Hiring" at PSU. They also received training on other systems and platforms like design innovation, commercial business intelligence, transport applications, in addition to intensive curriculum, and other self-development subjects.
Dr. Ahmad Bin Saleh Al-Yamani, Rector of PSU, confirmed that "the next generation of leaders in the Kingdom – including the new graduates of King Salman Education Program For Hiring at PSU – will be capable through this high level of training to utilize their bachelor's degrees and support them with given SAP certificates. We expect them to contribute in pushing innovation process in technology business, and have a positive impact on the Kingdom growing economy." He also thanked the program partners on top of which Mobily and SAP international.
Eng. Faiez Awadh, Mobily Chief Human Resources Officer, said "education and supporting next generation of manpower considered a main part of the company's social responsibility initiatives." He praised King Salman Education Program for Hiring which is considered a role model to be followed in the region that focuses on the cooperation effectiveness of the education sector and the company to fulfill Saudi labor market needs.
Eng. Ibrahim Al-Ghemlas, Director of Community Services & Continuing Education Center at PSU, said that the graduation ceremony for SAP academy trainees was held after they completed earlier their English certificate prior program entrance, then Soft Skills certificate, then Top Ten program, to complete the requirements to get four international certificates. He added that most of the students were approached by companies and received job offers, and some of them already started in their new jobs; the rest will begin their jobs within weeks. Al-Ghemlas thanked Mobily and SAP for their sponsorship and the Head of Education EMEA, and Middle East & North Africa Director who came from Germany especially for this event and for their support and encouragement of the program students, and their productive discussion with them which will help developing the program in the future.
