Ericsson participated for the third time at this year's Saudi Arabia Smart Grid Conference on Smart Grids and Sustainable Energy (SASG), at the Hilton in Jeddah last Dec. 6-8. During the event, Ericsson presented its latest innovative solutions for Smart Grid Communication and shed the light on its vision on how technology is supporting industry transformation by providing global examples from experiences with microgrid, grid analytics, electric mobility and smart street lighting, critical infrastructure protection, cybersecurity, and renewables integration. The purpose of the conference is to bring together researchers, designers, developers, and practitioners interested in the advances and applications in the field of Smart Grids, Green Information and Communication Technologies, Sustainability, and Energy Aware Systems and Technologies.
