Saudi Arabia and Japan have signed several business agreements at the conclusion of the Saudi-Japanese Business Opportunities Forum here, Thursday. The forum was held on the sidelines of the Saudi-Japanese Economic Meeting. Dr. Tawfiq Bin Fawzan Al-Rabeah, Saudi Arabia's Minister of Commerce and Industry, Dr. Muhammad Bin Sulaiman Al-Jasser, Saudi Minister of Economy and Planning, and Yokyo Edano, Japan's Minister of Economy, Commerce and Industry, participated in the deliberations. Dr. Abdul Aziz Bin Abdul Sattar Turkistani, Saudi Ambassador to Japan, and a number of officials attended the event. The Saudi-Japanese Economic Meeting which began Wednesday is aimed at reinforcing bilateral economic relations and creating more partnership, business and investment opportunities between the Saudi and Japanese business sectors. About 200 businessmen from both countries are participating in the event which is being organized by the Council of Saudi Chambers of Commerce and Industry, the Japanese Cooperation Center for Middle East (JCCME) and the Japanese Foreign Trade Organization (JFTO).
