Malik XI upsets MB Star in CIT SPL

JEDDAH — Malik XI upset the applecart of MB Stars by handing it its first defeat, while Peeran XI, Ace Travel, Pak Shaheen and Hyderabad Sharks triumphed with exciting wins. MCH Premier continued its prolific form to remain unbeaten in the CIT SPL T20, organized by Jeddah Cricket Association (JCA). The championship is mainly sponsored by Canadian International Trade (CIT). The co-sponsors are Initial Services, Ace Travel, Hyderabad Sharks, Maui Jim Sunglasses, Pepsi, Mizo Juices, Bison and Khind Electronics.
Former JCA cricketer and executive committee member Afsar Faheem graced the fourth week's matches along with businessman Abdullah Ali Bin Mahfooz and presented awards.
The Player of the Week award, sponsored by Malik Aijaz, went to Shahbaz Rasheed (unbeaten 94) of MCH Premier.
