JEDDAH — MB Stars, MCH Blazers, ARM United, Universal United and Pak Shaheen prevailed over their opponents in the 4th week matches of the Saudi Cup sponsored by Reel & Rom and UT Lines and organized by Jeddah Cricket Association (JCA).
MB Stars derailed National Automobile Juffali by 73 runs mainly due to Hafiz Zia's quickfire 108, studded with 10 fours and 9 sixes. MCH Blazers thumped Jamoom Fighters by 10 wickets with Rizwan taking 4 for 11 including a hat trick. ARM United made short work of Reel & Rom by 6 wickets, thanks to Nazeer Ahmed's unbeaten 119 inclusive of 12 fours and 6 sixes. Universal United raced to an exciting 3-wicket win over Jamoom Tiger, led by an unbeaten 141 with 14 fours and 10 sixes by Umair. Pak Shaheen crushed Gujarat XI by 93 runs.
In other matches, AJA downed ICAD by 30 runs, MCH Premier stumbled against Saudi German Hospital before prevailing by 4 wickets, Hala International School upset Faisal CC by 60 runs, Hyderabad Sharks overcame Peeran XI by 44 runs, Saudi Cup defeated Ittihad by 68 runs and Ace Travel beat Lahore Badshah by 7 wickets.
