Butt, Ehsan crack centuries in Sipco Cup

Imran Butt of Saliheen hit a career-best unbeaten 152 against Butt Sports Club and Ehsan of Pak Young hit an unbeaten 110 against KAIA in the 10th week Division-II league which is sponsored by Sipco (Saudi Industrial Projects Company) and organized by the Jeddah Cricket Organization (JCA).
The talented cricketers of Saliheen beat Butt Sports Club by 70 runs. Opting to bat first, Saliheen scored an imposing total of 235-7 as dashing opener Imran Butt remained unbeaten on 152. Amjad made 30 , Babar 15 and Abid 10. Abdul Rehman claimed 2-40 and Junaid 2-35.
In reply, Butt Sports was restricted to 165-5. Abdul Rehman hit 29, Zia 15, Junaid 27, Umar 26 and Waqas 21. Sufyan took 2-29 while Abid and Rauf got one wicket each.
In the second match, Pak Young beat KAIA by 85 runs. Batting first, Pak young scored a mammoth 227-5 against a strong KAIA cricketers. Hard-hitting opener Ehsan remained unbeaten on 110, Amanullah 31, Fakhar 25, Shabbir 25 and Fazal Khatak 35. All-rounder Ejaz claimed 3-42 and Shiraz 2-36.
In reply, KAIA youngsters slumped to 142 all out. Dashing opener Ejaz cracked 45 while Majid contributed 30. Tasawwar recorded an impressive figures of 4-30 while skipper Riaz Afridi claimed 3-35.
In the third match of the day, IBS cricketers tasted victory by defeating Jeddah Challengers by 36 runs. IBS, batting first, scored 192 through Nadeem 41, Sohail 50, Shakeel 27 and Nisar 25. Fawad claimed 3-40 and Fahad 1-30.
Jeddah Challengers could score only 156. Farhad made 30, Fawad 25 and Fahad 35. Nadeem took 3-40 and Tahseen 2-34.
