Overseas Filipino Workers (OFWs) and Filipino expatriates currently residing and working in the Kingdom may now have the chance and opportunity to upgrade and enhance their level of technical know-how by enrolling in any of the 27 information and communication technology (ICT) cluster courses that are now being offered for all Filipinos in the Kingdom. Some 44 Filipino volunteer expert instructors from the Computer Society of Filipinos International Inc. (COMSOFIL-CENTRAL) coming from various fields will be conducting a three-month intensive seminar and training/workshops for 12 consecutive sessions starting February 10, 2012 until April, 2012. “As a professional volunteer organization, the Society's lofty aim in realizing the continuing educational campaign for our OFWs, is not only to upgrade and enhance the technical know-how of our overseas workers in the Kingdom with the state-of-the-art and cutting-edge computer technology, but to become economic partners in nation-building when they return for good to our beloved homeland,” COMSOFIL 2012 Newly-elected president Leonida “Nida” Manuel said in an interview. Cluster registration is going on until February 10, 2012, every Friday (from 8:00 am - 5:00pm). Cluster sessions start Feb. 10, 2010, at the Elite International School (EIS), located at the back of the Pakistan Airlines, Al Olaya Road, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The informational and communication technology cluster courses on offer are: Computer Fundamentals, Word Processing, MS Powerpoint, MS Access Data Base, Electronic Spreadsheets, Web Development, Peachtree, Digital Photography, Digital Video Editing, Basic Electronics, CCTV, Sketch-up, After Effects, Adobe Illustrator, Basic Autocad, Advanced Autocad, 3D Max for Web Designers, 3D Max Modelling, 3D Max Vray, Networking 1, Networking 2, PC Technician 1, PC Technician 2, Laptop Repair Technician, Microstation, Basic Photoshop, Advanced Photoshop and Video Editing (Adobe Premiere PRO). __
