Yemeni Prime Minister Ahmed Obaid Bin Dagher has appreciated efforts being exerted by the Kingdom in supporting the Yemeni government at various political, military, media and relief and humanitarian levels to restore legitimacy to the country and defeat the "coup militias" occupying public institutions. Bin Dhager stressed that the Kingdom's honorable and continuing stand toward Yemen contributed to making the Yemeni army and the popular resistance on the outskirts of Sanaa. He hoped that the city will be liberated soon after the national army succeeded, with the support of the coalition forces, in pushing out the aggressors from many provinces and protecting the people of Yemen from the militias loyal to the Houthi rebels and former President Ali Abdullah Saleh. The Yemeni premier has extended his thanks and appreciation to Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman; Crown Prince Muhammad Bin Naif and Deputy Crown Prince Muhammad Bin Salman for their remarkable deeds and great sacrifices to save the state of Yemen from the coup militias that wreaked havoc and tyranny, devastated the country and killed the innocent people. He stressed that the Kingdom's position of support for Yemen will be written in golden ink in history and will be remembered by generation after generation of Yemenis. Bin Dhager's remarks came in a telephone conversation with Saudi Minister of Culture and Information Dr. Adel Al-Turaifi, during which he praised the constructive role by the Ministry of Culture and Information in the Kingdom to support the Yemeni media since the start the Operation Decisive Storm through their embrace of Yemeni government platforms and rebroadcasting them, in addition to resuming the two television channels Yemen and Aden, Sanaa Radio and Yemen News Agency (Saba) in a record time of 48 hours at the start of the crisis after the broadcasts were halted following the brutal aggression and occupation of state institutions by the coup militias. The prime minister also expressed his government's thanks and appreciation to Al-Turaifi for the patronage being enjoyed by the Yemeni official media, making a deep impact in the delivery of political and media discourse of the Yemeni leadership and officials to the Yemeni people. He said the coup militias though the official Yemeni media tools will not return to work again, but thanks to the Saudi support and efforts of the faithful all media platforms became active, playing an important role in the war by uncovering the violations and illegal practices of the coup militias while bringing to light the efforts of the Yemeni legitimate government, national army, popular resistance and the coalition forces. The prime minister also said the Kingdom's assistance and support will go down in history in golden letters due to the close cooperation between the two countries. He stressed that the Yemeni government and media as well as citizens value the tremendous and sincere efforts being made by the Kingdom, through the Ministry of Culture and Information, which has embraced the Yemeni media and provided them with all facilities and establishing the headquarters and studios of Yemen's official channels to fulfill their role at a time when the coup leaders wanted to remove them from existence. He praised hosting of Yemeni journalists and their families by the Kingdom, through the Ministry of Culture and Information, since the start of Operation Decisive Storm and supporting them with necessary requirements to play their role to the fullest. For his part, Al-Turaifi said his ministry is working under the directives of Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman, the Crown Prince and Deputy Crown Prince, who are always stressing the importance of support for the legitimacy in Yemen to face the evil schemes against the Yemeni people. He also confirmed that the Ministry of Culture and Information will continue to support the Yemeni official media that fall under the umbrella of the Ministry of Information of Yemen to exercise their duties until the return of legitimacy to the country, noting that the ministry was able to block out channels controlled by the militias on Arabsat and Nilesat and thus preventing their malicious and fraudulent messages from reaching recipients, which was a big slap in the face of hostile media. The minister emphasized that his ministry will never hesitate to meet any requirements of the Yemeni media as an important partner of the Kingdom and the coalition forces. Al-Turaifi stressed the Kingdom's support for the efforts being exerted by the UN Special Envoy to Yemen Ismail Ould Sheikh to reach a peaceful solution to achieve the restoration of the legitimacy to Yemen.
