The Ministry of Culture and Information in Jeddah on Sunday held the annual ceremony to honor the media and cultural delegations participating in the coverage of Hajj season this year 1436 H, in the presence of Minister of Culture and Information Dr. Abdulaziz bin Zaid Al-Toraifi. The Minister of Culture and Information delivered a speech in which he conveyed greetings of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, the Crown Prince and the Deputy Crown Prince and their appreciation of the media and cultural efforts in the service of the Islamic nation. The minister highlighted the great efforts by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia under the leadership of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques to facilitate Hajj and Umrah. He underlined the media's role in the development of communities and raising community awareness. The Minister of Culture and Information thanked all those who contributed to the success of media coverage of Hajj season this year. He also thanked the cultural and media elites in various social media that accompanied this great occasion, praising the efforts of the staff of the Ministry of Culture and Information and its subsidiary bodies for their great effort in all sectors of the ministry for the success of this season. A number of other speeches were also delivered praising Saudi efforts to facilitate Hajj. The guests of the Ministry of Culture and Information and media delegations thanked the kingdom for the great efforts to serve the pilgrims and facilitate the performance of the Hajj. The guests also thanked the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, the Crown Prince, the Deputy Crown Prince and the forces of the Arab coalition led by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia for their support for the legitimacy in Yemen and for the people of Yemen to recover the state and its institutions hijacked by the Huthi coup gang and their supporters who only understand the culture of destruction and devastation, the language of the jungle and dependence on Iran. They stressed that the support and attention presented to Yemen will be remembered by Yemeni generations and history as testament to good neighborliness and brotherhood that link Yemen and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, expressing thanks to the Kingdom for taking care of Yemeni and Syrian pilgrims and enabling them to perform the rituals of Hajj.
