Kings, Lions and Dolphins triumph

Al-Kharj Kings, Dirab Lions and Diriyah Dolphins won their matches in the second round of the RCA Champions League, which is organized by Riyadh Cricket Association in collaboration with Cricket Saudi International Academy.
Al-Kharj Kings beat Huraymala Gladiators by 8 runs in a closely-contested game.
Al-Kharj Kings, batting first, posted 204-8, thanks mainly to Waseem Riaz's 70 off 30 balls. Other notable contributions were Munawar Shafi (49) and Bilal Wani (41). For Gladiators, Samiullah picked up 3 wickets, while Iftikhar Ali and Abdul Qadir got 2 wickets each. Gladiators fought hard but fell short of target by 8 runs. Abdul Qadir played well and remained unbeaten on 77. Abdul Waheed added 37 and Imran Raja 24. Noman Ali and Munawar Shafi took 2 wickets each, while Nadeem Babar and Ayaz got 1 each.
Man of the Match: Waseem Riaz.
Dirab Lions got the better of Hayer Tigers in another tight finish by 3 wickets. Tigers, batting first, scored 199-5. Nadeem Shah held the innings together and scored 88 off 58 balls. Umar Pervaiz scored 34 and Muzaffar Majeed 22. For Lions, Saqib Saleem and Jabbar Hussain picked up 2 wickets each.
Lions chased the target on the last ball of the 20th over. Syed Adeel made 63 and Majid Bashir 23. Saqib Saleem played a match-winning innings of 40 not out off 25 balls. Muzaffar Majeed, Rustam Faiz and Majid Khan claimed 2 wickets each.

Diriyah Dolphins beat Al-Majma'ah United by 22 runs. Dolphins, taking the strike first, posted 187-9. Irfan Malik scored 57 and Abdul Wahab 28. Yasif Ali, Amjad Ali and Raja Ejaz grabbed 2 wickets each.
United managed 165 in reply. Kamran Hadi scored 54, Amjad Ali 46 and Sunil Kulai 23. Malik Fahad picked up 4 wickets, while Abdul Wahab bagged 3.
