RIYADH — Dirab, Huraymala and Majmah Leagues registered victories in the third round of the Champions League of Riyadh Cricket Association (RCA). This tournament is being organized by RCA in collaboration with Cricket Saudi International. In a clash of titans, Dirab League defeated Al-Kharaj League by 4 wickets. Al-Kharaj League elected to bat first and Bilal Wani continued to display his dominance as he smashed 86 off 51 balls. The rest of the team looked out of touch, with only Afzal contributing 23. Al-Kharaj was all out for 178 in 19.4 overs. Raja Gulraiz was the pick of the bowlers by taking 3 wickets for 41 runs. Yassir, Iftikhar, Adnan, Irshad and Saqib got one each. Dirab chased down the target in 18.3 overs for the loss of 6 wickets. Adnan and Imran scored 32 each, while Saqib's 41 took Dirab to victory. Nadeem Babar picked up 2 wickets, while Imtiaz, Fahad, Muzaffar and Ayaz grabbed one each. Saqib Saleem was named Man of the Match. Diriyah League lost to Huraymala League by 6 wickets. Batting first, Diriyah League scored 162-7. Qiaser Hussain played a brilliant knock of 60 off just 32 balls. Talal Butt and Syed Adeel scored 33 and 30, respectively. Yasir took 3 wickets, Tial got 2, while Nadeem, Zeeshan and Asif claimed each. In reply, Huraymala got off to a quick start. Tila Yousafzai scored 63 off just 25 balls. Nadeem (38), Amin (21) and Asif (19) ensured victory for Huraymala. Rustam Ali grabbed 2 wickets, while Usman and Talal got one each. Tila Yousafzai was declared Man of the Match. Al-Majmah League defeated Hayer League by 74 runs. Majmah won the toss and elected to bat first. With 30 plus from its top 6 batsmen, Majmah tallied 229-6. Waheed (42), Ibrar (37), Hamza (30), Farooq (34), Yassir (37) and Qadir (34) were the main scorers. Babar took 3 wickets while Zainullah, Ishaq and Abdulaziz got one each. Hayer League, in reply, was all out for 155. Only Ishaq faced the furious Majmah bowling with courage and belted 65 off 34 balls. Dawood took 3 wickets, while Waheed and Aziz claimed 2 wickets each. Abdul Waheed was adjudged Man of the Match.
