As the Ministry of Labor and Social Development continues to implement the directive of Saudizing mobile phone sales and maintenance jobs, telecom complexes across the Kingdom have complied with the drive by urging shops to hang signs that say ‘Best-paying jobs for Saudi nationals'. Managers of shopping complexes have shown commitment to social responsibility by nationalizing telecommunication jobs and placing their trust in Saudi men and women to run mobile business as well as cooperating with various sectors and government agencies, a ministry press statement said on Wednesday. It is expected that 30,000 jobs for Saudi nationals will be available in the telecom sector in the light of wide-range support from the ministry and its affiliates that provided apprenticeship. Previously, a total of 34,000 Saudi males and females were trained in mobile maintenance, sales and customer service where the Technical and Vocational Training Corporation furnished its colleges with trainers who conducted high-tech courses. The Human Resources Development Fund funded the training programs, spreading awareness on investment opportunities that help prepare new entrants into the mobile market.
