According to the Technical and Vocational Training Corporation (TVTC), 4,503 trainees have graduated from its institutes and are ready to work in the telecommunication sector. Makkah Technical and Vocational Training Corporation head Faisal Kadasah said the trainees are graduates of sales management programs, customer services programs and mobile repair programs. "As many as 4,503 trainees graduated from our free-of-charge training programs and are ready to work in the telecommunication sector to complete the Saudization plan. The corporation offers its programs for men and women alike," said Kadasah. He added the corporation is working on fulfilling the new vision of the Ministry of Labor and Social Development to Saudize the telecommunication sector. The ministry will launch a campaign on mobile phone shops across the country in the beginning of Ramadan to ensure they have Saudized 50 percent of sales and maintenance jobs. "The corporation graduated 3,757 Saudi trainees from the technical and telecommunications colleges for men in Makkah, Taif, Jeddah and Al-Qundfudah. There were also trainees from other industrial training institutes in Makkah, Al-Laith, Jeddah, Al-Qunfudah and Turbah," said Kadasah. He also said 746 of the trainees were women from the technical colleges for women in Jeddah and Taif. "The graduates are fully equipped with experience and knowledge and they can either work in the telecommunication sector or start their own business in the field," said Kadasah.
