Jasser, director general of Saudi Arabian Airlines, is heading the Saudia delegation attending the 72nd session of the International Air Transport Association (IATA) and the meeting of the SkyTeam Airline Alliance, which will begin in Dublin today (june 2). The two-day meeting will discuss several topics concerning the air transport industry, according to a Saudia press statement. The periodic meeting of SkyTeam will review and take decisions on a number of valuable privileges to be offered to its customers besides expanding trade exchange among the 20 member airlines. Perry Cantarutti, CEO and director general of SkyTeam, said that the airline alliance provides excellent services to more than 665 million passengers who travel on board the aircraft of the 20 member states a year. The SkyTeam network operates nearly 16,270 flights to 1,057 destinations in 179 countries. "The alliance has launched unique initiatives aimed at contacting directly with the customers through its SkyPriority Audit App. The mobile app helps SkyPriority panel members to share their experiences by uploading pictures, describing their journey and evaluating SkyPriority performance," he said. The SkyPriority offers exclusive priority services for the customers at more than 1,000 airports worldwide. — SG
