Kokan Green, Shuraim shine in Ersal Cup

Mehran, Shuraim, Jamiaa, Khalili Stars, Kokan Green and Royal Fighter registered wins in the 8th week of Western Union Ersal T20 Cup at RCL Complex here.
The tournament is organized by Riyadh Cricket League (PCL) and sponsored by Western Union Ersal T20 Cup.
In Super League, Game Pro CC got the better of Gujranwala by 41 runs. Batting first, Game Pro posted 236. Shammi blasted 91, Ashfaque 56 and Salim 29. Jamshid claimed 2-30, Imran 1-40 and Zubair 1-50. Gujranwala was bowled out for 195. Waqar scored 102 and Imran 29 as the rest of the players failed miserably. Easa took 4-25, Salim 1-14 and Nayaz 1-20. Man of the Match: Shammi.
Shuraim downed AKCC by 30 runs. Batting first, Shuraim put on 221 as Inam made 70, Faisal 56 and Jonty 23. Mohsin bagged 4-24, Zia 2-18 and Zaheer 1-36. AKCC was restricted to 191 with Sajjad and Farhan contributing 45 each, Haseeb 43 and Sheraz 29. Shah Nawaz pocketed 3 wickets for 46 runs, Arif 2-23 and Javed 1-18. Man of the Match: Inam Khan.
Mehran thumped Pakhtunkhwa by 43 runs. Batting first, Mehran etched 194 with Shafiq making 68, Usman 38 and Ibrahim 37. Farman and Arshad picked up two wickets each. In reply, Pakhtunkhwa was sent packing for 153. Arshad hit 43, Naveed 29 and Jamil 22. Ibrahim scalped 2-25, Asad 1-14 and Fakhre 1-20.
In the Premier League, Khalili Stars defeated Diamond I by 33 runs. Khalili Stars slashed 164. Main contributions came from Shoib Heera (37), Ashraf (24), Awiss (23) and Mubshar (21). Amjad was the pick of the bowlers as he took 5-27 and Rehmet Baig bagged 2-30.
Diamond I could score only 131. Baig made 33 and Shaji 29. Shoib Heera took 2-14, Iftaqar 2-22, Ashraf 2-23 and Aziz 2-29. Man of the Match: Shoib Heera.
Jamiaa got the better of Gujral by 30 runs. Batting first, Jamiaa notched 216 as Ejaz scored 66, Masih 35 and Jaber 28. Wasi removed 3-42, Hamza 1-18 and Mubassir 1-34. Gujral was restricted to 186 with Nazar recording 102. Masih took 2-30 and Mushtaq 2-31. Man of the Match: Ejaz.
Kokan Registered a 4-wicket win over Run Riderz. Run Riderz made 149-9 in 20 overs. Asim (33), Akmal (26), Sameer (20) and Junaid (15) were among the runs.
Ajaj snared 3-19, Fahim 2-23 while Liyaqat, Muzzafar and Chandu took a wicket each. Kokan was home for the loss of 6 wickets. Muzaffar was the star with the bat scoring 48 as Tausif added 22, Chandu 20 and Ajaj 19. Asim captured 2-27 and Sameer 35-2. Man of the Match: Muzaffar.
Royal Fighters punished Pak Cricket Club by 82 runs. Royal Fighters posted 217 with Madani crafting 74, Azhar Hegde 66 and Mustafa 19. Faizan claimed 2-38 and Ishtiq 1-29. Pak could score only 135 with main contributions coming from Talal (38), Majid (18) and Rehan (18). Shariq grabbed 2-15, Abdul Malik 2-18, Madani 2-22 and Azhar Hegde 2-23.
