Saudi Telecom Company (STC) in collaboration with Saudi universities held a ceremony to celebrate the success of its pioneer program of Educational Loyalty, for the second batch of Saudi universities students at the Cooperative Training Program, a press statement of the STC said here Saturday. The program is in line with the STC's commitment to meet the labor market needs with Saudi nationals and to implement Saudization and train nationals. The endeavor has led STC to win the GCC-sponsored Award of Indigenization (Tawteen)), and was honored by the GCC Council of the Ministers of Social Affairs, in a ceremony held in Abu Dhabi, the Emirates, recently. The program is a complementary part of other vital programs run by STC to train and to upgrade nationals skills and knowledge, thus enabling them to take advantage of the available job opportunities at the local labor market. Aimed at encouraging liberal professions as well as supporting small-sized enterprises by implementing a 1-6 month long short term practical training programs, on computer sciences and applications and launching of websites, STC's programs have won acclaim to focus on locals taking over the local job market.
