Thrilling matches were played in the Western Union Ersal T20 Tournament at RCL Complex here.
The tournament is sponsored by Western Union Ersal and organized by Riyadh Cricket League (RCL).
In Super League, Mehran got the better of Game Pro by 23 runs. Batting first, Mehran scored 213. Asad (51) and Ibrahim (32) were among the runs.
Madhu and Zakariya took 2 wickets each. In reply, Game Pro had a great start with Imran (57) and Moiez (35). Mehran fought back to bundle Game Pro out for 182. Asad took 2-34, while Faqhir and Ibrahim claimed a wicket each. Man of the Match: Usman.
Mughal beat Fuchs by 5 wickets. Fuchs posted 180 as Asghar hit 42 and Waqas 29. Asghar bagged 4-43 and Sajad 2-29. In reply, Mughal reached the target for the loss of 5 wickets. Azeem smashed 44, Batwa 32 and Sajad 48. Rizwan bagged 2-33 and Javeed 2-51. Man of the Match: Sajid.
In the Premier League, Diamond I edged Shaheen Strikers by 14 runs. Diamond I posted 170 in 20 overs. Shajjiuddin was the top scorer with 81. Shaheen Strikers was restricted to 156. Amir made 38 and Shahzad 22. Shafiuddin scalped 5-44 and Rahmatullah 2-30. Man of the Match: Shafiuddin.
Jamiaa registered an 8-wicket victory over Pure Health. Pure Health scored 144 with Hamed making 39. Masih claimed 4-25 and Naaz 3-38. Jamiaa was home in 13.1 overs with Ejaz etching 57, Masih 48. Umar bagged 2-11. Man of the Match: Masih.
Royal Fighters was head to head with Fakhre Afghan. Royal Fighters put on 184-6 with the help of Mustafa (35), Tausif (40) and Madani (26). Tausif picked up 2-22 and Noaman 3-36. Fakhre Afghan fell short of 43 runs as it managed 141. Imran (35) and Hannan (28) were among the runs. Qaiser scalped 3-12. Man of the Match: Madani.
DKG Registered a 2-wicket win over Kashmir CC. Batting first, Kashmir made 142-9. Wajid hit 40 and Mahmood 24. Sameer took 4-42 and Hammad 3-37. In reply, DKG reached the target for the loss of 9 wickets. Wasif scored 50 and Nauman 20. Babar and Amer took 3 wickets each for 40 and 31, respectively. Man of the Match: Wasif.
Gujral registered a 7-wicket victory over Riyadh Pirates. The Pirates scored 112 in 20 overs with Jawad crafting 24 and Sohail 27. Nazar, Rashid and Qulb-e-Abbas took 2 wickets each. Gujral chased down the target in 15.5 overs. Nazar blasted 53 and Muntazir 32. Sohail took 3-16 and Abdul Qadir 2-40. Man of the Match: Nazar — 53 runs.
Kokan Green thrashed SACO by 63 runs. Kokan Green posted 183-9. Rahman (53) and Tausif (39) were the main scorers. Salim scalped 4-40 and Rizwan 2-26. SACO was restricted to 120-8. Akram hit 25 and Rizwan 17. Liyakat, Muzaffar and Siraj bagged 2 wickets each. Man of the Match: Muzaffar.
Khalili Star won against Pak CC by 12 runs. Taking the strike first, Khalili Star scored 18-8 as Aziz blasted 74 and Asghar 29. Ishtiq took 2-19 and Majjad 3-36. Pak could score only 169-8 with Tallal adding 24 and Danish 27. Shoaib was the top wicket-taker with 3-28. Man of the Match: Aziz.
