JEDDAH — Telangana United Forum (TUF), a non-profitable and non-political Jeddah-based Indian social and welfare organization, conducted its first meeting of the "Rubaru" (Face-to-Face) project for matrimonial alliance here on Monday. Several families, parents of boys and girls from the Indian community, predominantly from Hyderabad, joined the project. Well-known Indian community philanthropist and founder president of TUF Siadath Ali Khan, vice president Mahtab Qader, Farooq Ahmed, Baderuddin Ansari, Aliuddin, Syed Afzal and other executive members of organizing committee welcomed participants and guests. Shams Ahsan Managing Editor (Int.) Saudi Gazette graced the occasion as special guest along with Abid Siddiqui IAS (Retd.) and president Minority Development Forum (MDF) Hyderabad. Speaking at the profiles scrutiny session Shams Ahsan congratulated TUF for its welfare activities. He appreciated the efforts of Siadath Ali Khan and his team for this noble cause. Abid Siddiqui said we are well organized in Hyderabad city and working for the last four years. During this period we had registration of 21,700 applications. Out of this profiles approximately 5,000 brides and grooms celebrated their weddings. Some parents included Wajahat Khan, Mohammed Maseehuddin, Mohammed Ahmed Ali and Riaz Mohammed Khan. They praised TUF and expressed their deep appreciation for providing this opportunities for the parents to choose brides and grooms for their children.
