Muwakabah Wooden Furniture & Industries Factory Co. (Woodroc), part of the Mohammad Hussein Al-Amoudi Group of Companies, recently celebrated first year of progress in Jeddah. The ceremony, held under the theme “Year 2011: Woodroc First Year of Progress” was attended by Hassan Hussein Ali Al-Amoudi, Chairman of the Board of Directors, along with a group of strategic partners, the company's early founders, directors, all-company managers, staff and rank-and-file workers. The ceremony started with a welcoming speech by Woodroc Executive Director, Abdul Rahman Faisal Aboud Al Amoudi, in which he expressed his gratitude and appreciation for the support of the chairman and board members. He also highlighted the cooperation and dedication of the company employees and urged them to do more in the coming years. During the ceremony, commemorative awards and appreciation certificates were presented to its strategic partners, founders and ideal employee of each department, along with the awards for “Labor of the Year 2011”, “Employee of the Year 2011” and “Manager of the Year 2011”. Lunch was served at the end of the ceremony at Phase 5 of the Jeddah Industrial City. The plant, with state-of-the-art technology on a 45,000 square meter property, has the largest production capacity in the Arab region.
