In the presence of Prince Abdullah Bin Saud Bin Mohammed, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Marsa Al-Ahlam, a sea resort company, Okaz Organization for Press and Publication held on Thursday its award ceremony for outstanding employees of 2008 at the Westin Hotel at Jeddah's Corniche. The annual ceremony was opened this year with a speech from the Director General of Okaz, Waleed Jameel Kattan. in which he welcomed Prince Abdullah and thanked all those involved in the continuance of the success of the organization, reserving special felicitations for award winners and the winner of the title “Man of the Year” who were nominated by co-employees and department managers and chosen by a selection committee. Prince Abdullah also announced that award winners and their families would be given a free cruise. The Man of the Year award went to Ashraf Al-Shareef, head of the Purchasing Department. Winners of “Ideal Employee” awards were: Managing Editor Hashim Al-Jahdali; Managing Editor Faleh Al-Dhibyani; Osama Al-Rashed from the Finance Department; Ahmed Al-Faqih from the Marketing Department; Editor Ibrahim Al-Qirbi; Editor Fahd Al-Dhiyabi; Editor Mohammed Udheib; Mohammed Al-Amoudi from the Personnel Department; Saudi Gazette Editor Naif Mansour Al-Turki; Al-Nadi Magazine Editor Halal Salman; Abdullah Ameen from Roaa Masgazine; Abrar Akhtar from the Department of Distribution, and Syed Athar Hasnain Rizvi, Saudi Gazette Editor. Winner of the award for Best Haj Journalistic Work went to Ali Gharsan, and the winner of the award for Best Haj Photograph was Hassan Qirbi. Other winners included Saleh Matar Al-Ghamdi from the Taif office for his work over a period of 25 years, and posthumous awards went to former Okaz employees Mohammed Al-Feifi and Ghazi Al
